Job Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging with members to understand their health needs and concerns, providing empathetic and supportive interactions to ensure their well-being
  • Reviewing member claim history for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all necessary information is up-to-date and accessible
  • Explaining member rights and responsibilities, including benefits and claims information, in a clear and concise manner
  • Building trusting relationships with members through active listening, effective communication, and a customer-centric approach
  • Performing financial data maintenance, including updating member records and processing claims
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex policies and procedures

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center atmosphere
  • A strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices, with a preference for previous experience in this field
  • A medical or insurance background is also preferred, but not required
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required, with an Associate's degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with members and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and find effective solutions
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
