Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Being proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and services, and making recommendations to meet their financial needs
- Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners
- Educating and referring customers to other areas of arenaflex to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership
- Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balancing daily transactions while providing exemplary customer service
- Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation to drive business results and customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year of customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree can be considered in lieu of experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve customer issues and identify opportunities to grow customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- 1 year or more of experience in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
- Cash handling skills and experience with financial transactions
- Comfort with technology, such as mobile services and online banking services, to provide support to customers and drive business results
