Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team in our Carlisle, PA distribution center. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for the daily input of all time and production data into our Blue Chip computer system. You will work closely with our DC Management and Engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry, and you will generate and distribute production and incentive dollar reporting to Management and Payroll. This is a 3rd shift position, working Sunday through Thursday from 11pm to 7am, with a shift differential of $3 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

* Input time and production data for all DC associates into Blue Chip computer systems, including summarizing production sheets, checking for accuracy, and reporting errors (65% of time)

  • Generate and distribute production and incentive dollar reporting to DC Management and Payroll (15% of time)
  • Analyze system output and troubleshoot erroneous data (10% of time)
  • File paperwork in accordance with established procedures and rotate files periodically for storage (5% of time)
  • Perform other projects as assigned (5% of time)

Essential Functions and Competencies

* Technical/Functional Competence: Proficiency in data entry software and ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Drives Results: Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Analysis & Judgment: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot errors and resolve issues
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Quality: Commitment to delivering high-quality results and maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

* Previous clerical/administrative experience

  • 10-key experience (fast and accurate)
  • Good math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs
  • Good interpersonal skills
