Experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer – Customer Systems Development

About the Role
As a Java Software Engineer in our Customer Systems Development team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software products that exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable, efficient, and secure Java-based software applications using Spring, REST, and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with business leaders and application owners to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Work with designers and project managers to ensure that software products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to ensure that software products are of the highest quality
- Develop and maintain large-scale, distributed systems that can handle high volumes of traffic and data
- Design and implement data access layers, data storage solutions, and data processing pipelines
- Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions
- Participate in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that software products are integrated with other arenaflex systems and services
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on enterprise-level software development
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, REST, and other relevant technologies
- Experience with designing, developing, and deploying large-scale, distributed systems
- Strong understanding of data access layers, data storage solutions, and data processing pipelines
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure
- Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with machine learning and AI-powered solutions
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding and threat modeling
- Experience with testing and quality assurance, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing
