Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of their own homes. As a Property and Casualty insurance expert, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized support to our policyholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Contact policyholders through inbound and outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies and provide personalized recommendations for improvement
  • Utilize your knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex's policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies
  • Process changes to policies, submit changes to specific companies, and follow up to ensure timely processing
  • Review policy information, reference company-specific claims procedures, and assist insured individuals in filing claims
  • Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth and expansion
  • Document all activity, including changes to policies, coverage options, and recommendations, in our EPIC system
  • Provide quotes on endorsements, counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage and policy limits, and make recommendations to enhance retention and better meet customer needs

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, combined with at least 3 years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. A Property and Casualty insurance license is required, while a Membership license is preferred or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including Property and Casualty insurance products and services
  • Proficiency in EPIC or similar systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide personalized solutions
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision and maximum autonomy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
