About the Role: Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist

This exciting opportunity is part of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Government Affairs Division at arenaflex. As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting and selling air travel, resolving customer complaints, and providing exceptional service to our clients. If you're a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for the air travel industry, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, ensuring that customers receive the best possible experience
  • Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
  • Communicate with customers over the phone, researching passenger complaints, advising of cancelled or delayed flights, and providing updates on new rules, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications and Skills:

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our company's values and goals. The minimum qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the air travel industry
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
  • Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar systems
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative in resolving immediate problems
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative, exercise good judgment, and be dependable
  • Satisfactory attendance required
