Job Overview

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone and providing support for online self-service functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer telephone calls in a call center environment, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide account maintenance, including reviewing confidential tax information and ensuring compliance with tax laws and policies
  • Offer customer support for online self-service functions, such as the Georgia Tax Center, and troubleshoot issues as needed
  • Conduct light to moderate research using online web tools to resolve customer inquiries and provide accurate information
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current tax laws, policies, and procedures, staying up-to-date on revisions and changes to ensure accurate education and guidance for internal and external customers
  • Utilize technology to provide advanced support and resolve customer issues efficiently

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED, supplemented by six months of call center experience handling customer questions, complaints, and providing information
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to address customer issues, achieve customer satisfaction, and respect business needs
