Key Responsibilities:

As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing customs shipments, ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to clients and regulatory agencies
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including customs documentation, duty books, and other relevant information
  • Complying with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to customs, trade, and transportation
  • Collaborating with internal staff, divisions, and external partners to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Processing organization financier shipments and handling distant filings as required
  • Ensuring all service and operational procedures are followed, and reporting any deviations or issues to management

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, logistics, transportation)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of six months of work experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and other relevant software applications
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volumes of work
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and precision in data entry and record-keeping
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customs, trade, or transportation

  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines, including those related to customs, trade, and transportation
  • Experience working with multiple systems and reference materials
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
