Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that require your excellent communication skills, technical proficiency, and ability to multitask. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional guest services, including responding to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our guests have a seamless experience
  • Screening potential guests, communicating with them via phone, email, or messaging platforms, and ensuring that they meet our guest criteria
  • Leveraging AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to craft comprehensive and personalized guest messages that resonate with our brand and travelers
  • Utilizing Guesty and/or HostAI to manage guest communications, bookings, and other related tasks
  • Reporting maintenance and damage issues to our operations team via Operto Teams and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
  • Building, managing, and reporting on in-house maintenance labor, as well as working with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management
  • Assisting with the onboarding of accounting systems and providing support with business financials and accounting tasks
  • Communicating and escalating issues to management via Slack, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently
  • Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status by providing exceptional guest services and ensuring that our properties meet the highest standards
  • Writing and responding to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms, ensuring that our brand is represented positively and professionally

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent grammar and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment, with minimal supervision, and to manage your time effectively
  • Proficiency in using VoIP systems to communicate with guests and vendors
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI, as well as other property management software
  • Familiarity with AI tools, such as ChatGPT, and the ability to leverage them for comprehensive guest messaging
  • Ability to work in CST and Eastern United States time zones, with availability on Thursday and Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm CST
  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will give you a competitive edge in this role:

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles, with experience in using accounting software and systems
  • Familiarity with 3rd party vendor relations and tertiary market management
  • Experience in using Operto Teams and other project management tools to communicate and collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, from 11 pm to 7 am CST, for additional compensation and opportunities
