Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team at arenaflex. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management systems. Your primary responsibilities will include entering and retrieving information from computer databases, verifying the accuracy of documents and computer screens, and operating standard office equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Transmit information or documents using a computer, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print, to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball, updating records, files, reservations, and answering inquiries from guests.
  • Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate standard office equipment, such as telephones, typewriters, faxes, photocopiers, calculators, and electronic peripherals, with proficiency and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance, adhering to arenaflex's uniform and grooming standards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals and objectives, and listening and responding to concerns and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and completing required safety training and certifications.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or certification in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, or a related field, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, guests, and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
