Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer requests and issues via phone, web, or written correspondence, providing timely and effective solutions
- Engage, counsel, and educate customers on our plans, tools, and resources, taking into account their unique needs and preferences
- Respond to questions and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating emergencies to appropriate staff as needed
- Document and track contacts with customers, providers, and plan sponsors, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Build trusting and caring relationships with our customers, taking ownership of their needs and expectations
- Provide customer-related information to answer unasked questions, including extra plan details, benefit plan details, customer self-service tools, and more
- Explain customer rights and limitations as per contract, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Client support experience in a transaction-based environment, such as a call center or retail store, with a proven ability to be empathetic and compassionate
- Ability to work in a production environment, meeting accuracy and production standards
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Availability to work second or third shift, with a commitment to either schedule
