Join our Southwest Business Department, where you'll coach and develop our Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management team to drive sales growth, establish partnerships, and promote arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager State & Higher Education, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management team to drive sales growth and establish partnerships
  • Executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education (SLED) managed travel accounts
  • Increasing sales and broadening awareness of arenaflex's corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts
  • Identifying and hiring top talent in the managed travel industry
  • Onboarding and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry
  • Collaborating with fellow Leaders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the travel industry
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and establishing partnerships
  • Excellent coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in the managed travel industry, preferably with a focus on State, Local, and Higher Education accounts
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services, or a willingness to learn and develop expertise
  • Certification in sales, account management, or business development, such as CSEP or CBA
  • Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to communicate effectively with a distributed team

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, you'll enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • A base salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
