About the Role

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to arenaflex customers, resolving issues, and answering questions related to their accounts and services. You will work closely with various departments, including Payments and Digital Strategy, to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Completing statistical access and balancing features
  • Coordinating return objects with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
  • Assisting different departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated Accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Working member cases/assignments
  • Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
  • Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of domestic and international budget transfer requests
  • Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
  • Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
  • Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, overseas collections, and legal fees

What You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A high school degree or GED
  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
  • Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
  • Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer/member service experience

  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
