Job Summary The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service during the overnight shift while balancing and reconciling the day’s financial transactions. This role combines front desk responsibilities with basic accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Inn during nighttime hours. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and other front desk needs during the night shift. Prepare and distribute end-of-day financial reports for management. Monitor the property’s security and safety overnight, report suspicious activity. Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Set up the next day’s reservations and ensure accuracy in the booking system. Run nightly audit reports in the hotel’s property management system (PMS). Ensure all guest accounts are current and resolve any discrepancies. Perform end-of-day procedures in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Handle wake-up calls and manage overnight phone inquiries. Perform light cleaning or Inn lobby upkeep as needed during shift. Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities with strong attention to detail. Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations. Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours. Familiarity with hotel property management systems Basic math and computer skills. Weekends and holidays required. Additional Information In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) job responsibilities, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and external market data when determining pay. The final hourly rate is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base pay only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
