Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing discrepancies between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity
- Analyzing complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
- Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborating with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to ensure seamless transactions
Duties and Tasks
* Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
- Identifying and addressing Client/Advisor account exceptions
- Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
- Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of income tax coding
- Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns
- Identifying the root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management
- Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
- Answering business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
- Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
