Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support our business and information science needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data and analytics into our applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and normalize data from various sources
- Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing of data
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate data and analytics into our applications and services
- Work with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) to design and implement scalable data architectures
- Develop strong data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Ensure data quality and accessibility by incorporating data from various sources and adhering to industry standards
- Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
- Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach for our data needs
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data design and architecture
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and Python programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with healthcare industry data (EMRs, claims data, etc.)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices

* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
