Job Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics crew, you will be responsible for:

• Working with large, messy, disparate datasets to perform ad-hoc analyses and inform business decisions
• Creating ETLs or scripts that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table
• Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges
• Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups to establish credibility and analyze stakeholder needs
• Partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems
• Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate reporting tasks (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition)
• Documenting your methods and sharing your expertise with colleagues
• Mentoring junior team members as you become a Subject Matter Expert

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science)

• 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity and manipulation
• 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on creating impactful visualizations and dashboards
• Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau

• Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations
• Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or D3.js
