About the Role

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving process improvements and ensuring accurate reporting of working costs. You will work closely with our Senior Accounting Manager and other team members to achieve business objectives and contribute to the growth and development of our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger
• Be a key owner of the monthly close process for our company and foreign entities for assigned functional areas
• Maintain financial records for management and GAAP consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
• Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to further our process improvement initiatives

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-directed individual who is passionate about accounting and process improvement. You should have a "make it happen" attitude, be able to think creatively and entrepreneurially, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent business acumen, be data-driven, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• Excellent spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or in progress
• Experience with financial planning and analysis
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
