Our mission is to deliver exceptional service and support to our clients, and we are now seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.

About the Role

The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in educating union members about the benefits available to them through their affiliation. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing personalized support and guidance on benefits that can make a significant difference in their lives. As a benefits coordinator, you will be responsible for responding to member inquiries, providing information on available benefits, and assisting with the opt-in process for additional benefits. With no cold calling required, you will focus on building strong relationships with our union partners and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels, providing accurate and timely information on available benefits
  • Educate members on the benefits of their union affiliation, including health insurance, life insurance, and other perks
  • Assist members with the opt-in process for additional benefits, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with union partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in benefits administration, applying this knowledge to improve service delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member complaints and concerns, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Fluency in English, with bilingual skills in any language being a plus (but not required)

  • Previous experience in customer service, benefits administration, or a related field
  • Knowledge of labor unions, credit unions, or associations, with an understanding of the benefits and services they provide
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and complaints
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
