Job Summary

The Student Customer Service Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service to patrons and guests. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. You will also be required to maintain a clean and safe environment, perform basic cleaning duties, and assist with special event set-up and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and guests, ensuring a positive and approachable demeanor at all times
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
  • Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash removal, equipment maintenance, and laundry
  • Assist with special event set-up and operations, ensuring seamless execution and excellent customer experience
  • Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building, providing immediate assistance and support

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications or obtained within the first 30 days of employment
  • BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with diverse groups and individuals
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures, with the ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer service, facilities management, or a related field
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid techniques
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
