Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Java developer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy Java-based software applications, including back-end systems, APIs, and web applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs
• Work independently to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement them in a timely and efficient manner
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, following arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code is maintainable, efficient, and meets arenaflex's quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve arenaflex's products and services

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on back-end systems, APIs, and web applications
• Strong understanding of Java programming language, including Java 8 and later versions
• Experience with Java frameworks, such as Spring and Hibernate
• Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data access technologies
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS and Azure
• Knowledge of containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning, including data science and data engineering
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including secure coding and threat modeling
