About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team on a full-time basis. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for planning and preparing financial reports, including journal entries and monthly account reconciliations, for specific areas of the general ledger. You will also be responsible for ensuring that financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and management's expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger

• Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
• Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and management's expectations
• Assist in providing forecasts to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
• Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
• CPA certification an asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, oral, and written skills, with fluency in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
