The Role

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support our business operations and analytics needs
- Design and implement data governance and quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to support data engineering and analytics efforts
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on large-scale data systems and solutions
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in data engineering and analytics
- Experience with data warehousing and data lakes, including design, development, and deployment
- Strong understanding of data governance and quality control processes, including data validation, data cleansing, and data transformation
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on large-scale data systems and solutions
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of data science and machine learning concepts, including data modeling, data visualization, and predictive analytics
- Experience with data governance and quality control frameworks, including data lineage, data provenance, and data quality metrics
- Strong experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
