About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our developing Bookkeeping group, working 100% remotely. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you will collaborate with our ongoing team to drive interaction improvement for our working cost capability. You will work cross-functionally to achieve business objectives by driving forward process upgrades and ensuring precise reporting of working costs. You will report to our Senior Bookkeeping Director in our Bookkeeping group.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger.
- Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for ourselves and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas.
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies.
- Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys.
- Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters.
- Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives.

- Is data-focused and unafraid to go down to the lowest level of detail for truth and a high level of accuracy.
- Has excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including strong proficiency in English.
- Has strong analytical and time management skills.
- Has 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Has a solid understanding of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/ internal controls.
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite is a plus.
