As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be part of a fast-paced and exciting environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our customers' experiences.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that they maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You'll also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure that customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting, mentoring, and motivating your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
• Managing safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience
• Collaborating with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lifting up to 49 pounds and frequently pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching to perform tasks
• Standing or walking for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Working in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Working in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
• Continuously climbing and descending stairs (applies to sites with stairs)

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Ability to work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
• Ability to work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather
• Ability to continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
