Student Customer Service Coordinator – arenaflex Rec Center Facilities

Job Summary:

As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for patrons and guests, providing assistance with various questions and problems in customer service areas. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, performing basic cleaning responsibilities, and enforcing facility policies. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a positive and approachable demeanor

  • Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas
  • Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash removal, equipment maintenance, and laundry
  • Special event set-up and operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
  • Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer service and a positive experience for all patrons

Essential Qualifications:

* Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications or obtained within the first 30 days of employment

  • BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working in a recreation or fitness setting
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's policies and procedures
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
