As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees, ensuring that they have the tools and resources they need to succeed. Key responsibilities

* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-client workstations and peripherals

• Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
• Contribute to workstation projects (global installs/redesigns) as a project team member
• Remotely resolve and resolve demands using remote tools
• Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues
• Record client interactions in incident management software, including resource management
• Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration
• Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband network for workstations
• Install and configure local and network-based printers
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be prepared to travel as required
• Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Venture, as required

All you'll need for success

* Minimum Qualifications: Education and Earlier Professional Training + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience/preparation

• 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues
• First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment

Preferred Qualifications: Training and Earlier Professional Training

* A+ certification

• MCSE/MCP or higher
• Past IT foundation experience in an Aircraft/Airport environment

Abilities, Licenses, and Certificates

* General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10

• Knowledge of workflow and tagging systems
• Knowledge of VPN networks and ability to troubleshoot issues
• Ability to work independently and act in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
