The Role
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Web & Cloud Application Development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure cloud-based applications using a range of technologies, including AWS. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our organization and driving innovation in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements
- Design and develop scalable and secure cloud-based applications using AWS, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and other relevant services
- Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with the development team and other stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing and AWS, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our applications
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud computing and AWS
- 4+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable and secure cloud-based applications
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and other relevant services
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Strong understanding of software development principles, including Agile and Scrum
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Preferred Qualifications
* AWS Certification, such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- Experience with data quality tools, such as Great Expectations or Deequ
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems
- Experience with containerization, using Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts, and experience with relevant tools and technologies
