As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our hourly workforce and ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business results in the following areas:

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: You'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and motivate your team, ensuring that they're equipped to deliver exceptional results.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: You'll work closely with our support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives, ensuring that our customers receive their orders safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Collaborate with all support teams: You'll work closely with our Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources teams to develop plans to meet business objectives and drive results.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: You'll be required to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching, as well as standing and walking for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: You'll work in an environment where the noise level can be loud, and you'll be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: You'll work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including outside loading departments.
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs: You'll be required to climb and descend stairs frequently, as some of our sites have stairs.

Our fulfillment network is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization, with new Operations sites launching every year. As a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Estimated Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive estimated salary of $20 to $28 per hour, based on qualifications. In addition to your salary, you'll also receive a range of benefits, including:

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Part-Time Remote Area Manager, you'll need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent: You'll need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a strong understanding of business principles and practices.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role: You'll need to have at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business results and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: You'll need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including hourly workforce, support teams, and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: You'll need to have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions to drive business results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: You'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
