Key Responsibilities and Duties

As a Remote Customer Experience Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone with professionalism and in a timely manner, ensuring that every interaction is a positive and memorable experience.
  • Planning and selling transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Cooperating with clients to determine their needs and advising them on the best destinations, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs, and accommodations.
  • Utilizing promotional techniques and preparing promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams when necessary, and ensuring that every issue is resolved to the client's satisfaction.
  • Providing accurate, valid, and comprehensive information by utilizing the right methods and tools, ensuring that our clients have the information they need to make informed decisions.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times, even in challenging situations.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents, ensuring that our records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies, ensuring that our interactions with clients are consistent and compliant with industry standards.
  • Taking the extra mile to engage customers and build a loyal client base, driving repeat business and referrals.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to improve the overall customer service experience, sharing best practices and ideas to drive growth and innovation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative, with a track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening, with the ability to handle multiple calls and interactions simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, with the ability to utilize technology to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred, with a focus on customer service, marketing, or a related field.
