Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of arenaflex, interacting with clients, patients, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and personalized experience. Your expertise in data entry, communication, and problem-solving will be essential in driving success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and convey a unique and great client experience, ensuring that all interactions are courteous, friendly, and professional
  • Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with considerate and efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately
  • Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication data and process prescriptions
  • Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with items and services, and resolving client issues to ensure a positive experience
  • Model and offer client support best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and arenaflex service qualities
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy
  • Maintain counters and retires clean and well-promoted, take inventory, and keep records up-to-date
  • Process manual cases for third-party program prescription services, perform administrative duties, and support the pharmacy team in stock management activities

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • Strong numerical abilities, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control
  • PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Previous work experience with arenaflex or a similar organization
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments
