About the Role: Customer Experience Chatroom Operator

We're seeking exceptional customer service professionals to join our remote Conversion Improvement team as Customer Experience Chatroom Operators. In this role, you'll play a vital part in handling millions of automated humanized conversations for our top clients, ensuring that every interaction meets the highest standards of excellence. Your mission will be to provide thoughtful, articulate, and appropriate guidance to consumers, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner. As a connoisseur of conversation, you'll be adept at handling unexpected situations and maintaining a 98%+ accuracy rate in your responses, which will be randomly audited and quality assured.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond quickly and accurately to inbound messages via our chat room, utilizing point-and-click frequently asked questions and canned responses to address consumer queries and concerns.
  • Create ad-hoc responses that are relevant, appropriate, and compliant with industry standards and verticals, such as automobile insurance, health insurance, and prescription drug plans.
  • Escalate conversations to leadership when necessary, ensuring seamless resolution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Document frequently asked questions to inform continual improvement and add relevancy to canned responses, enhancing our natural language model and driving automation at scale.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and exceptional verbal, communication, and written skills.
  • Work efficiently, maintaining a Replies per Hour rate of 60 replies per hour worked, while ensuring quality and consistency in every interaction.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in a customer service chatroom environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support and resolving complex issues.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and empathetic responses to consumers in real-time.
  • Familiarity with verticals such as automobile insurance, health insurance, and prescription drug plans, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new industries and topics.
  • Professionalism, exceptional attention to detail, and a high standard of excellence, with a focus on delivering accurate and timely responses.
  • Comfortability with computer systems, advanced typing skills, and reliable internet/WiFi connectivity, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent experience, with a focus on customer service, communications, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with AI-powered conversational outreach strategies, natural language processing, or chatbot technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA or PCI-DSS, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and security in every interaction.
