Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and driving business success in the following areas:

  • Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce: You'll be responsible for leading, guiding, and motivating your team to achieve exceptional results in safety, quality, attendance, and performance.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises: You'll work closely with support teams to develop plans to meet business objectives, ensuring that customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.
  • Collaborate with all support teams: You'll work closely with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: You'll be required to lift and move packages, as well as perform other physical tasks, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts: You'll be required to stand and walk for extended periods, often in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud: You'll be working in an environment where the noise level can be loud, and you'll need to be able to communicate effectively with your team.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather: You'll be working in an environment that's subject to variable temperatures and weather conditions, including outside loading departments.

Our Fulfillment Network

Our fulfillment network is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where we launch new Operations sites every year, providing various opportunities for professional growth. We hire Area Managers based on location preference and the business's current openings.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent: You'll need to have a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for this role.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role: You'll need to have 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills: You'll need to have excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and guide your team.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach: You'll need to be able to lift and move packages, as well as perform other physical tasks, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or operations management, is preferred.

  • Experience in a leadership role: Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, is preferred.
