Job Summary

We're seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries. You will assist customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience. You will also accurately document call content in real-time.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries

  • Assist customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience
  • Accurately document call content in real-time
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills

Schedule

* Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
  • Note: Rotating holidays as needed

Compensation and Benefits

* Pay: $16.20/hr

  • Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO available

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, communications, healthcare)

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting or with medical insurance
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g. Certified Customer Service Representative)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
