Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Chat & Text Therapist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Remote Chat & Text Therapist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of services to our clients, coordinating day-to-day operations of the program, and recommending and implementing changes that would improve the delivery of services. This is a full-time remote role that offers the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer all chats and texts in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency goals
• Effectively assess clinical situations and needs of all chatters
• Provide quality assurance of the program's service delivery
• Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately, including information critical to data collection and reporting to funders
• Monitor call-in times for clients placed on a 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up
• Attend all required meetings and training courses, even if they fall outside of the regularly scheduled shift
• Comply with and assure compliance by staff with the agency's standard of care for service delivery
• Ensure quality service delivery, including clinical care and all associated documentation
• Take an active role in ad hoc committees and work groups as assigned by the Manager or Director of Programs
• Provide instruction and training for interns and staff
• Adhere to the agency's policies and procedures and assure that staff is in compliance
• Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency
• Provide comprehensive services to clients and coordinate communication with other departments in the agency to accomplish continuity of care

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Clear and effective communication
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to document detailed information
• Ability to multitask
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm in crisis situations, work independently and cooperatively, recognize personal limitations, and relate positively and with empathy to all persons regardless of age, race, creed, gender, or sexual orientation

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

• Crisis experience
• Supervisory experience
• Program development experience
