About the Role

We are seeking experienced customer support representatives who are not only great at typing but also up-to-date on the latest music trends and artists. As a Chat Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in helping fans via live chat, addressing their queries, and providing assistance with purchasing merchandise, password resets, website troubleshooting, and more. Key Responsibilities

  • Express genuine empathy and concern for customers' issues and address them as if they were your own
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products
  • Identify high-risk customer situations and escalate them appropriately without hesitation
  • Manage multiple chats simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Accurately document all required information and chat details in the ticketing system
  • Respond to and resolve open issues in an appropriate timeframe
  • Identify trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalate them to management as needed
  • Multitask using multiple systems while maintaining composure and efficiency
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions
  • Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times
  • Flexibility to cross-train as requested

Essential Qualifications

  • A genuine love for music, particularly in the Pop and Country genres
  • 1-3 years of call center chat experience required
  • Technical experience strongly preferred, with experience in Zendesk being a definite plus
  • Ability to type 30 words per minute with 90% accuracy or above consistently
  • Strong messaging communication skills and active listening abilities
  • Ability to work independently and utilize resources to resolve customer issues
  • Great understanding of text and chat acronyms
  • Excellent grammar skills, with the ability to use informal language when appropriate
  • Previous work-from-home experience preferred
  • Understanding of contact center support metrics and the ability to implement actions for improvement
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the music industry or a related field
  • Familiarity with customer service software and technology
  • Experience with live chat platforms and ticketing systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Your own computer (laptop or desktop) with the following specifications:
    • Processor: Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
    • Memory: 8GB on Windows 10 or higher / 10 64 bits
    • Screen Resolution: 1280x768 or higher, dual monitors required
  • USB headset
  • Up-to-date antivirus software installed on the platform with a recent scan completed
  • Hardwired connection to a router
  • Firewall enabled

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $13.00-$15.00 per hour, plus bonuses for outstanding performance. As a 1099 contract worker, you will be responsible for your own taxes and benefits.
