Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Principal Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning models that drive business growth and improve visitor experiences
  • Leading the development of data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and drive business outcomes
  • Working with data engineers and scientists to design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses
  • Developing and maintaining data visualizations and reports to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with data analysts and business stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
  • Leading the development of predictive models, clustering, image recognition, NLP, anomaly detection, and other machine learning techniques
  • Collaborating with data engineers to productionize machine learning models and assess their performance on real-world datasets
  • Working with data scientists to develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
  • Collaborating with data analysts to develop and maintain data visualizations and reports
  • Leading the development of data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and drive business outcomes

Required Capabilities and Abilities:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in Python and predictive modeling, including experience with TensorFlow, SparkMLib, PySpark, Light, MXNet, and other machine learning frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP
  • Proficiency in SDLC, QA cycles, and Agile development methodologies
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience with data engineering tools, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git and GitHub
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
  • Experience with data quality and data governance practices

Preferred Capabilities:

* Experience with Docker and containerization

  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Experience with cloud platforms, including GCP and other cloud providers
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
  • Experience with data representation and data validation tools, including Splunk and Plotly
  • Experience with sound analysis and text analysis tools

Education:

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (desired)
