Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Mortgage Loan Originator / Loan Officer. The successful candidate will identify and assist customers with their mortgage needs, assess eligibility, guide clients through the loan application and approval process, and collaborate with underwriters and other key team members. Responsibilities also include building strong client relationships, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring timely and successful loan closings.
Qualifications
- Experience in Loan Origination, Mortgage Lending, and Loans processes
- Understanding of the Underwriting process and its related requirements
- Strong knowledge of Finance principles and practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using loan origination software and related technology
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Two or more years of experience in mortgage lending or a related role is preferred
- Active NMLS license or eligibility to obtain one is preferred
