Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Processing orders, verifying customer information, and providing exceptional customer service
- Overseeing a diverse range of customers, including complex cases, and escalating questions to supervisors as necessary
- Grouping orders for largest truck loads to optimize cost savings and bracket pricing qualification
- Requesting appointments for loads as needed and grouping customer pickup loads
- Addressing potential order issues, gathering and tracking order details, and researching discrepancies
- Providing timely and thorough communication with clients and customers
- Collaborating with the supply chain team to mitigate inventory issues
- Participating in scheduled calls with Hormel/Customer, providing feedback and insight
- Communicating regularly with management to advise on critical issues or opportunities
- Performing training and vacation/out-of-office backup duties
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work independently, prioritize duties with minimal supervision, and execute detailed work to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with a focus on Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
- Familiarity with supply chain management and inventory control
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Certification in customer service or a related field
