Responsibilities:
As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor with arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
- Meeting client turnaround times by efficiently and effectively processing claims and authorizations
- Navigating imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
- Differentiating between various claim types and following established data entry guidelines
- Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
- Collaborating with team members to ensure work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
- Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements
- Performing quality reviews of team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
- Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
- Alerting management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
- Providing recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate
Requirements:
To be a successful candidate, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role
- Strong data entry/typing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a healthcare-related field
- Knowledge of insurance claims and authorization processes
- Certification in data entry or a related field
