Responsibilities

As an Airport Customer Service Agent, you'll be the face of arenaflex, interacting with customers, resolving issues, and providing assistance with their travel needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting passengers with their baggage pick-up and resolving issues related to delayed, lost, or damaged items
  • Utilizing computer software to track and catalog luggage, ensuring accurate and efficient processing
  • Handling customer interactions with class, professionalism, and efficiency, providing solutions to their concerns
  • Performing other related duties as assigned, utilizing your skills and experience to contribute to the team's success
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly, and repetitively lifting weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces

Basic Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following basic qualifications:

  • Be a local (in-state) resident
  • Hold a High School diploma or GED
  • Possess a valid In-State Driver's License
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass up to a 10-year background check
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have the authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
  • Be able to carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs
  • Be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • Previous customer service experience, particularly in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of airport operations and procedures
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with computer software and technology

Schedule

You'll work in person at our airport location, interacting with customers and resolving issues.
