Responsibilities
As a part-time Remote Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Transferring Confidential Data: Accurately and efficiently transfer confidential data from paper and/or electronic formats into our billing software, Timeslips, using a keyboard.
- Typing in Data: Type in data provided directly from staff, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Verifying Data: Verify data by comparison and generating reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organizing Paperwork: Sort and organize paperwork (electronic and hard copy) following data entry, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Prior Work Experience: Prior work experience in data entry is preferred, but not required.
- Typing Proficiency: A typing proficiency of at least 45 wpm accuracy, with no errors, is preferred.
- Understanding of Medical Facilities: Some understanding of the internal processes of medical facilities and med-legal terminology is preferred.
