Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Initiating conversations with customers, discussing their plans, suggesting products, and encouraging excitement about transactions
• Providing customer service that exceeds customer expectations
• Maintaining assigned areas stocked, dirt-free, and secure to ensure seamless customer shopping experiences
• Utilizing teamwork with management and colleagues to achieve sales targets
• Utilizing the POS system to finalize customer transactions
• Following guidelines for handling customer refunds and exchanges
• Abiding by standard practices for accepting payment through cash, checks, and credit cards

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Possess basic math skills and a prior track record of customer support
• Have the ability to multitask efficiently and deliver excellent results even in stressful situations
• Possess a valid forklift certification (if required for specific job positions)
• Pass a state-mandated drug test before obtaining certification for heavy equipment operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
