Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Seasonal Merchandise Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principles and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
- Cross-training to work in multiple areas of the store to support the needs of the business.
- Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customers according to established operating procedures.
- Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
- Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
- Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
- Performing other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent customer service skills.
