Position at a Glance Company: Chewy Start Date: Immediate openings available Location: Remote in the United States or at one of our corporate hubs (Bellevue, Boston, Minneapolis, Plantation) Position: Executive Compensation Manager Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package Job Summary As an Executive Compensation Manager at Chewy, you will be responsible for analysis, vendor management, process management, and functional expertise for our executive compensation programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal, to develop and implement compensation strategies that deliver market-relevant salary, bonus, and equity. Your expertise will help inform senior leadership decisions and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement executive compensation strategies that align with Chewy's business objectives and market trends Collaborate with the Manager of Executive Compensation and HR leadership team to design and deliver compensation programs that attract and retain top talent Prepare compensation recommendations for Chewy's senior leadership and support materials for Executive and Compensation Committee approval Assist in the annual preparation of the Chewy Proxy and other regulatory filings Develop and communicate compensation education materials on philosophy, strategy, and applicable programs to stakeholders Manage executive level salary survey processes and evaluate market data for executive positions Advise senior leadership regarding executive compensation trends and practices Lead miscellaneous executive compensation projects and provide functional expertise Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field 5+ years of experience in executive compensation, HR, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage large data sets and identify trends Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to tell a story and make recommendations Experience working with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal Knowledge of executive compensation best practices, regulatory requirements, and market trends Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field Certification in executive compensation, such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Experience working in the retail or e-commerce industry Familiarity with compensation management systems and vendor management Skills and Competencies Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make recommendations Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to senior leadership Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams and building relationships with stakeholders Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop compensation programs that align with business objectives Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Chewy, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
