Job Summary

We're seeking an accomplished Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for interacting with customers to provide information, resolve complaints, and handle inquiries about our products and services. You'll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, utilizing your exceptional communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and technical expertise to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Interact with customers to provide information, resolve complaints, and handle inquiries about our products and services

  • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills
  • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken
  • Utilize computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software, to manage customer interactions and transactions
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle complex customer issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

* High school diploma or GED

  • 0-2 years of customer service-related experience required
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
  • Proficiency in computer software navigation and dual screens is essential
  • Strong communication skills are a must
  • Ability to handle complex calls, demonstrate critical thinking, and problem-solving skills is crucial
  • Preferred Skills: A pharmacy background is preferred but not mandatory
  • Bi-lingual candidates who speak Hmong, Spanish, or Mien are preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a high call volume environment

  • Experience with pharmacy benefit services or healthcare industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment and Culture

* Work from home in a quiet, dedicated workspace with a wired LAN connection

  • Utilize video conferencing tools, such as Zoom or MS Teams, for training, team meetings, and customer interactions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with day and midday shifts available
