This role owns discovery data risk across manufacturing, quality, clinical, and corporate systems, ensuring litigation execution is defensible, efficient, and never constrains business velocity. Operating as a senior individual contributor, the Specialist transforms massive, complex datasets into decision-ready evidence that protects patient trust, regulatory credibility, and corporate reputation. The role embeds artificial intelligence as core discovery infrastructure-automating execution, accelerating insight, and scaling capacity faster than data growth. Success is measured by predictable discovery outcomes, controlled costs, zero spoliation risk, and rapid insight delivery under compressed timelines. The E-Discovery Specialist partners closely with Legal, IT, Compliance, and external counsel while maintaining full ownership of outcomes end-to-end. This position demands urgency, precision, and system-level thinking in high-pressure, high-visibility matters where defensibility is non-negotiable. Duties and Responsibilities Enterprise Litigation Data Risk

  • Maintain a continuously updated enterprise data map across manufacturing, quality, clinical, and corporate systems.
  • Proactively identify, quantify, and mitigate discovery risk before litigation escalation.
  • Execute and audit legal holds with precision, documentation, and zero ambiguity.

  • Plan and execute targeted, defensible data collections across cloud, SaaS, endpoints, and regulated systems.
  • Design review workflows optimizing precision, recall, speed, and cost simultaneously.
  • Control e-discovery vendor performance, SLAs, and spend with forensic rigor.

  • Apply AI for classification, clustering, deduplication, translation, and prioritization at scale.
  • Leverage machine learning insights to surface patterns, narratives, and litigation drivers early.
  • Govern AI defensibility through validation, documentation, and regulatory risk controls.

End-to-End Ownership

  • Own discovery matters from intake through production and post-matter analysis.
  • Define scope, milestones, risks, and success metrics independently.
  • Anticipate failure modes and close execution gaps proactively.

Scalable Personal Impact

  • Build dashboards, templates, and workflows that replace heroics with systems.
  • Track progress visibly and execute against measurable plans.
  • Deliver reliable results under sustained pressure and executive scrutiny.
