About the Role
As a Data Entry Specialist at Walmart, you will be responsible for identifying and collecting information to aid a wide variety of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and danger evaluation objectives, compliance requirements, and situation recall regions. You will work closely with stakeholders to design dashboards, build custom reports, and apply analytics techniques to assess risk and measure the maturity of associated controls.
Key Responsibilities
Collecting and processing information from disparate information systems across our US and global businesses Designing dashboards to help stakeholders scope risk and measure the maturity of associated controls Building custom reports as needed to support business leaders and compliance professionals Applying analytics techniques and tools to increase defensible and consistent methodologies for assessing risk Drawing insights and correlations from data and communicating effects to compliance professionals, attorneys, and business leaders Providing input on new and emerging risk areas using data-driven analysis Soliciting feedback and helping to continuously improve our ERM and risk assessment processes Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Deep SQL knowledge and talent in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BigQuery, PowerApps, and Dataiku Experience working on legal, compliance, ERM, or risk assessment matters Adept at generating impactful visualizations and using data to 'inform a story' Ability to code using R or Python Strong verbal and written communications skills A growth mindset and experience learning new things Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools Experience with data visualization tools and techniques Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we are committed to helping our associates grow and develop in their careers.
