About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you'll be an integral part of our pharmacy team, providing exceptional patient care and support. Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting pharmacists with patient care and support activities Processing and filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients and clients Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements Participating in ongoing training and education to enhance clinical and technical skills Key Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for: Accurately processing and filling prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders Providing exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to CVS Health's quality and safety standards Collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required) Current licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Florida (or eligibility for licensure) Basic computer skills and ability to learn CVS Health's pharmacy management system Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a related field PTCB certification or eligibility for certification Experience working in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting What We Offer At CVS Health, we're committed to supporting the well-being and professional growth of our employees.
