About the Role

As a Remote Health Care Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be an integral part of our Customer Experience team, handling telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers. Your primary goal will be to deliver empathetic support, resolve complex issues, and provide comprehensive solutions to our customers. You will navigate multiple systems, manage a steady volume of incoming calls, and ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle telehealth-based phone calls and email inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Provide empathetic support and resolve complex issues related to insurance verifications, benefits education, billing questions, prescription issues, and technical challenges
  • Navigate multiple systems to access customer information and provide accurate solutions
  • Manage a steady volume of incoming calls and ensure that customers receive exceptional service and support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Meet productivity and quality standards, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction

What We Look for in a Candidate

To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be naturally empathetic, determined, and able to deliver comprehensive solutions to complex customer issues. While customer service experience is a plus, it is not required. Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or college degree
  • Ability to successfully complete a 3-week virtual training class
  • High-speed internet and a distraction-free work environment
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute with 96% accuracy
  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to effectively multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Availability to work weekends and flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience in a healthcare or related field
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and medical concepts
  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
